Linda Dunnavant is a Nashville-based singer/songwriter originally from South Georgia. She calls her genre “dream folk Americana” to capture the ethereal, transient nature of her lyrics and melodies. Daydreams, delusions, second chances, old hurts, getting stuck, getting free, and the natural world all inspire her songwriting.

Linda’s debut album, Hidden Lake, is “shimmery Americana, painting a portrait of life as a waking dream” (Adobe & Teardrops). The collection of nine songs are largely about the double edged sword of desiring connection. The fear of showing your true self to someone else and the relief when you’re seen and understood. It’s about being in one primary relationship where you can learn how to fight, repair the damage, and then be even closer than you were before. It’s also about how we’re all in conflict with ourselves and the shame we carry and how that shows up in relationships with other people.

You can find Linda performing around Nashville, where she lives with her husband and kids.
